Tell us the trade you need (plumber, electrician, HVAC, etc.), your zip code, and a rough project description. We send you 1–3 vetted subcontractors who handle residential work. You decide who to hire.
No. Homeowners pay zero to Nexa. The subcontractor pays our access fee out of their own earnings. Your quote from the sub is independent and final.
Every subcontractor in our pool has license and Certificate of Insurance verified at intake. We confirm against state licensing boards (TDLR where applicable) and the insurer of record.
Let us know. We activate our backup roster and dispatch a replacement subcontractor for your project. Replacement timelines depend on availability and Force Majeure clauses outlined in our Terms of Service.
Major residential remodels, additions, and trade-specific jobs $5,000 and up. For very small jobs (under $2,000) a directory like Angi or HomeAdvisor is usually a better fit.
